Welcome to Seniors Respite Montérégie, the only English respite center in the Montérégie. Conveniently located at 83 Bd Churchill, Greenfield Park, QC J4V 3L8, we provide vital support to family caregivers while creating a bright, welcoming, and fun environment for seniors—whom we referred to as our guests. We provide flexible support through our in-home respite care and a welcoming day center, helping to reduce caregiver stress and combat isolation.
Our compassionate staff is a combination of fully trained professionals in first aid, CPR, PDSB (Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior), and caregiving. All staff members have undergone thorough criminal background checks, ensuring a safe environment for all our guests.
Our streamlined intake process ensures that our support services are accessible without the need for healthcare system referrals, allowing individuals to receive care quickly and effectively.
We provide a safe, engaging environment where our guests can thrive, while offering family caregivers the vital opportunity for respite. Respite allows family caregivers to take care of their own needs—whether running errands, attending appointments, catching up with friends, or recharging. Recharging isn’t a luxury; it’s essential for maintaining physical and emotional energy, reducing stress, and staying connected to personal well-being, so caregivers can continue providing compassionate care.
Our day center which spans 1,500 square feet is fully accessible, featuring no stairs at the front entrance. With a dedicated 1:3 staff-to-guest ratio, we ensure that every one of our guests receives the attention and support they deserve. LEARN MORE
For those seniors who cannot attend the day center, we do also provide in-home respite. Available seven days a week, one of our qualified professionals provides personalized one-on-one activities, ensuring that seniors living with neurocognitive issues receive dedicated care and companionship in their own homes.
